Church news
• St. James Church, New Alexandria, will have all-day Eucharistic adoration Nov. 21 for the memorial of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the church, 306 St. James Lane. Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and adoration will continue from 8:30 a.m. until benediction at 6 p.m. A children’s Eucharistic hour will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Parents are welcome to stay with children. Fundraisers
• St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, North Huntingdon, will sell pierogies at 9 a.m. Nov. 16 at the church, 90 Bethel Road. Cost: $12 per dozen. Details: 412-627-1678.
• Lincoln Heights Civic Association will have bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 and 17 at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Jeannette. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Payout is 50/50. Free coffee. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies.
• New Alexandria Center for Active Adults, 207 W. Main St., will have bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 19 at the center. Doors open at 11 a.m. and lunch is at noon. Cost: $20, includes lunch and 16 bingo sheets and a chance at a door prize. Details: 724-668-7055, 8:30 to 3:30 weekdays.
• Youngwood Area Revitalization and Development will host a holiday and Christmas craft and vendor show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 20 at Youngwood Volunteer Firehall, 104 S. Second St. Free admission. The fire department auxiliary kitchen will be open. Vendor information: 724-925-2480.
• Mt. Pleasant Township Lions Club and Norvelt Volunteer Fire Department will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 20 at Roosevelt Hall, 2325 Mt. Pleasant Road, Mt. Pleasant Township. Menu: pancakes, Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, sausage and breakfast beverages. Cost: $7; 6 to 12, $3, younger than 6, free.
• St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, 4480 Route 981, Trauger, will have a turkey bingo from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 20 in the church social hall. Doors open at noon. Admission: $5. Additional sets and specials will be sold and there will be one quickie, door prizes, special ticket items and a 50/50. Frozen turkeys will be given away, not grocery gift certificates. • A poultry bingo and pie social will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 20 in the parish hall at Seven Dolors Parish, 102 Center St., Yukon. Doors open at noon. Admission: $10, includes one board, pie and coffee. Extra boards: $1. There will be a basket raffle, food for sale and a 50/50. The event is sponsored by the Christian Mothers and Ladies of the parish.

• Greensburg College Club will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in the Laurel Room at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 51 Old Salem Road. Guest speaker Alex Castanzo will present a program, “Life After Death: Becoming a Policeman.” Public welcome.
• PFLAG Greensburg Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 20 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 139 N. Main St., Greensburg. Anyone who is LGBTQIA, family, friends or advocates welcome. Donations of winter hats, gloves and scarves will be accepted for Feeding The Spirit.

Special event
