Westmoreland happenings: spaghetti dinner, winter breakfast and Vera Bradley bingo

Fundraisers

• A spaghetti dinner in memory of Holly Anne Weber will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at First United Church of Christ, Hitchman Street, Mt. Pleasant. Menu: spaghetti and sauce, with or without meat, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Cost: 10; children, $7. Takeout or dine in. There will be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will be donated to Weber’s family to assist with funeral costs. Takeout orders: 724-433-9322.

• St. James Church, New Alexandria, will host a winter breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 16 at the church, 306 St. James Lane. Menu: ham, sausage, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, coffee and tea. Cost: $10; age 6 to 12, $5; younger than 6, free. Sponsored by the church Holy Name and Rosary Altar societies.

• A Vera Bradley bingo will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 16 at Community Church of Hecla, 537 Hecla Road, Mt. Pleasant Township. Doors open at 1 p.m. A light lunch will be available. Details: 724-396-8065 or 724-244-2586.

• Rostraver Sportsmen’s Association will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17 at the club, 539 Cedar Creek Road, Rostraver Township. Membership applications from men and women welcome. Details: 724-984-6611 or rostraversca.org.
