Church News
• Christian Life Church, 900 Seventh St. Trafford, will have vacation Bible school from 6 to 8 p.m. June 19 to 23 at the church for children in preschool through sixth grade. A free family dinner will be at 5:15 p.m. Details: 412-856-4420.
• Greensburg Church of the Brethren will host a night of fun and fellowship for individuals and groups with developmental disabilities from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the church, 554 Stanton St. Dinner is included. Fundraisers
• Trinity United Methodist Church, 407 Duquesne Ave., Trafford, will host a strawberry festival from 4:30 to 7 p.m. June 9 at the church. Menu: cake, ice cream strawberries and beverage, $6; hamburgers, hot dogs, ham barbeques, macaroni salad, haluski and baked beans available a la carte. Details: 412-373-0835.
• An indoor/outdoor spring craft and vendor show will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 9 at the Herminie Center for Active Adults, 101 Sewickley Ave. rear. There will be a basket raffle, 50/50 and Stella’s Waffles. Details: 724-446-3282.
• EC Cruisers Car Club will host a car cruise from 5 to 9 p.m. June 9 at Bovard Volunteer Fire Department, 2 Washington St., as part of the fire department burger bash. Vehicle registration: $5. There will be a DJ, dash plaques, door prizes, a bake sale and ticket auction. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Heal Animal Rescue in Youngwood.
• A flea market and bake sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 9 and 10 at First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon, 501 Fayette Ave., Rostraver. A half-price sale will begin at 3:30 p.m. June 10. Details: 724-929-7616.
• West Newton Public Library will have a $5 bag sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 10 at the library, 124 N. Water St. There will be 21 tables of adult hardcover, paperback, nonfiction, children’s and biography books and DVDs.
• Community United Presbyterian Church, 1640 Keystone Park Road, New Alexandria, will participate in the community yard sale scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 10. Details: 724-668-7752.
• St. James Lutheran Church, 4329 Route 982, Youngstown, will have a trash and treasure and bake sale from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 10 at the church.

• Knights of Columbus will have a burger and kielbasa bash and bake sale from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 11 at Seven Dolors Church hall, 102 Center St., Yukon. Menu: burgers and chips, $7; kielbasa and chips, $8; sauerkraut and cheese available; bake sale items and drinks. Dine in or takeout. The hall is accessible.

Library News

Meeting
• The Braddock Trail chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet June 10 at the chapter house, 200 S. Church St., Mt. Pleasant. A brief meeting will be at noon and the annual picnic will be afterward. Bring a covered dish to share.
• South Hills Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. June 13 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave. The program will be about ancient Bible coins. There will be a 50/50 raffle and prizes for children. Public welcome. Membership applications are being accepted. Details: 724-984-6611.

Music
• The Jeannette Business Association will sponsor a concert from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Elliott Group Amphitheater featuring the group Billy the Kid and the Regulators. Bring a lawn chair. Food trucks and a beer garden will be on the 400 and 500 blocks of Clay Avenue and South Fifth Street. Rain or shine. No pets, skateboards or bicycles permitted.
• 3Rivers4 A Capella Quartet will perform a free concert at 5 p.m. June 13 at Adams Memorial Library, 1112 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Reservations required: 724-539-1972 or tinyurl.com/fcdmhfuh.
Reunion
• Mt. Pleasant Area High School Class of 1968 will have a reunion Sept. 8 at Bell’s Banquets/The Barn, 1740 Route 982, Mt. Pleasant Township. There will be a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to oldies music. Classmates who have not received their invitation should call 724-396-2224.
Special events
• The Westmoreland Museum of American Art and PFLAG Greensburg will sponsor a Pride Prom from 6 to 9 p.m. June 17 at the museum, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. There will be a DJ and all ages are welcome. The popular Prom-enade will be held with prizes for best prom attire, best pride attire and best dance moves.
