Westmoreland happenings: Turkey dinner, omelet breakfast and more

Include a complete address and daytime phone number. Submissions are due at least two weeks before the event. Each announcement is printed once; there is no fee.
Fundraisers
• Community Church of Hecla, 537 Hecla Road, Mt. Pleasant Township, will host a turkey dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at the church. Dine in or takeout. Details and takeout orders: 724-396-8065 or 724-244-2586.
• The Confraternity of Christian Mothers of Holy Family Catholic Church will sell burgers and fries from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 14 and noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 15 in the church social hall, 225 N. Second St., West Newton. Cost: $5; cheese, 50 cents; pop and water, $1; condiments, free.
• The Holy Name Society of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant, will host an all-you-can-eat omelet breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 15 in the church social hall, Summit Street. There will also be a 50/50. Cost: $10; age 3 to 12, $3; younger than 3, free.
• A winter breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 15 at St. James Church, 306 St. James Lane, New Alexandria. Menu: ham, sausage, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, juice, coffee and tea. Cost: $10; 6 to 12, $5; younger than 6, free. There will be a bake sale and basket raffle. Sponsored by the church Holy Name and Rosary Altar societies. Details: 724-668-2829.
