Fundraisers
• St. Barbara Parish will host bingo at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 8 at the church, 111 Raymaley Road, Harrison City. Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission starts at $27; extra packages, $5. There will be free coffee, early birds, quickies, an all-nighter, 50-50 and games of chance. The kitchen will be open and the building is accessible. Details: 724-744-4594.

• A craft and vendor show to benefit Clairview School for special needs students will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday Nov. 4 at the school, 215 Donohoe Road, Hempfield. Free admission. There will be food, a bake sale and basket raffle. Merchandise will include crafts made by the students. Funds raised will be used for student events throughout the year.
• An Election Day luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 7 at First Church of God, 157 N. Second St., West Newton. Menu: soups, sandwiches, salads, desserts and drinks. Dine in or take out. Details: 724-872-7467.

• Lincoln Heights Civic Association will have bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. today Nov. 2 at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Jeannette. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies. Payout is 50-50. Free coffee.

Veterans News
• Norwin Elks will host a free spaghetti dinner for veterans from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Elks Lodge, 135 Elks Lane, Manor. Family members and guests will pay for their meals.
