Westmoreland job fair slated at Hempfield hotel
Job seekers will have an opportunity to connect with employers Feb. 26 at the Ramada by Wyndham Greensburg Hotel and Conference Center.
The WANT (Westmoreland Assists Native Talent) Job and Career Expo will be held 1 to 4 p.m. at the hotel, at 100 Ramada Inn Drive, Hempfield. The annual event is expected to attract more than 65 employers and between 300 and 600 students and community members in search of jobs.
Organizers are registering employers for the event. Participation fees begin at $200 for a for-profit company and $150 for a nonprofit agency, including two employer representatives. There is an additional fee of $25 for each representative beyond two.
There is no fee for job seekers, who are encouraged to register in advance to get additional details. Resumes and professional attire are recommended.
Visit wantexpo.org for more information and to register.
WANT is a collaborative consortium involving area colleges and universities, chambers of commerce, PA CareerLink offices and area economic development agencies.
