Art

• The Greensburg Art Center will host an exhibit of 3D art Sept. 25 to Oct. 22. Sculptures, reliefs and artisan craft entries are being accepted and there will be prizes for each area. A purchase prize of up to $1,000 will be awarded for an outdoor sculpture to be installed in the Sculpture Garden. Entry deadline: Aug. 31. Details: greensburgartcenter.org


Classes

• The Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette Inc. will offer free digital literacy workshops once a week beginning Sept. 1 at the CareerLink offices in Lemont Furnace, Youngwood and New Kensington. The workshops are available to anyone whether or not they have computer experience. Topics will include computer basics, how to search for and apply for jobs online, basics of social media and more. • A Seniors for Safe Driving class will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 11 at Circleville United Methodist Church, 11600 Parkway Drive, North Huntingdon. The class is PennDOT approved and for drivers who are at least 55 years old. Safe drivers can receive a 5 percent discount on auto insurance for three years. Fundraisers

• Knights of Columbus Bingo will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 29 at St. Regis Church, 517 Homewood Ave., Trafford. Admission: $15, includes 20 regular games. There will be a $150 guaranteed jackpot game, specials, food and a 50/50 raffle.

• North Huntingdon EMS will host a food truck rally from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 28 at Oak Hollow Park, Timothy Drive, North Huntingdon. Music will be by polka band the Dynasonics and rock and country band the Roadhouse. Proceeds will benefit the EMS free care fund that provides funding for car seats, cardio pulmonary resuscitation and first aid training and in-house community paramedicine program.


Reunion

• Greensburg High School Class of 1959 will have an 80th birthday party at 11 a.m. Sept. 22 at Lakeview Lounge, 6153 State Route 30, Hempfield. Details: 724-875-7820


Special events

•A Back to School Jam will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 28 in the parking lot of Excela Health, Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg. There will be games, music, food and book bags. Donations will be accepted.

• A seminar on human trafficking will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 29 at Bible Alliance Church, 1300 Mt. Pleasant Road, South Huntingdon. Suitable for teens through adults. Details and reservations: Darlene, 724-433-3774
