Arts
• Diamond Theatre of Ligonier will conduct auditions for the play, “A Hiro’s Tale,” from 7 to 9 p.m. May 7 and 8 at the theater, 210 W. Main St. Performances will be July 23 to 25. Actors of all ages are needed, no experience necessary. Rehearsals will be Mondays and Wednesdays.

• Latrobe Lions Club will conduct its spring broom sale from 9:30 a.m. to noon May 8 in the Lincoln Road Shopping Center, 606 Cedar St., Latrobe. Profits provide help for the blind and other community services.
• An indoor yard sale will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 15 in the Shenandoah Gymnasium of Laurelville Retreat Center, 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant Township.
