• Laurelville Retreat Center, 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant Township, will host Ann Talarek at a Lunch and Learn event at noon July 24 in Laurelville’s small dining hall. Talarek is horticulturist at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater in Mill Run. After lunch guests will go outside with Talarek to examine the new native pollinator gardens which she helped to design with Martha Oliver of Powdermill Nature Reserve in Rector. Cost: $15. Fundraisers

• Space applications are being accepted for a crafter and vendor fair planned from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 7 as part of the Community Yard Sales at Hutchinson Fire Hall, 261 Firehall Ave., Sewickley Township. Cost: $15 per space. Applications: Christen, 724-493-0952

• Pet Friends will host its annual Woofstock benefit concert from 2 to 9 p.m. July 31 outdoors at Quinn Brewing Company, 3000 Commerce Loop, North Huntingdon. Bands will include Soulios, the Rust Project and Big Trouble and there will be food trucks, craft vendors, a 50/50 raffle and basket auction. Music

• Alabaster Performing Arts will present an Italian American Music Concert at 7 p.m. July 20 at the Smail Amphitheater Stage in Hempfield Park. Performers will include Jeannette native Jessie Glover, Mary McCormack and Ann Marie Lewis. Cost: $10, younger than 12, free. Tickets: 724-516-5189

• Laurelville Retreat Center, 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant Township, will present a free outdoor concert by a cappella group New Song at 2 p.m. Saturday at the gazebos near the Meeting House. The group is a music ministry group from Geneva College. Bring a chair. No reservation required.

• Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce will host free concerts at 7 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 22 in the gazebo at the Diamond. The featured group July 18 will be the East Winds Symphonic Band. In case of inclement weather, an announcement will be made by 5 p.m. to move the concert into Town Hall or canceled. Details: Visit Ligonier on Facebook.

Meetings

• Rostraver Sportmen’s Association will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the club, 539 Cedar Creek Road, Rostraver Township. Membership applications from men and women welcome. Details: 724-984-6611 or rostraversca.org

Reunions

• The James and Emma Wiltrout Family reunion will be July 25 in pavilion 1 of Mammoth Park, Mt. Pleasant Township. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m.
