• Greensburg Art Center will host a retrospective exhibition in memory of Cathy Rosensteel Sept. 15 to 19 at the center, 230 Todd School Road, Hempfield. Church news
• Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, 671 Balzer Meyer Pike, Hempfield, will host a Rally Day Carnival on Sunday to kick off its fall programs. • A spaghetti dinner and basket raffle to benefit TJ’s Rescue Hideaway, an animal rescue organization, is slated for 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. The event will be held at Irwin VFW Hall, 100 Billott Ave. Cost is $9.95 for adults and $5.95 for children and includes spaghetti with meat or plain sauce, a meatball, bread and butter, salad, drink and a cookie. To-go dinners are available and can be delivered curbside. Additional desserts and drinks will be available for purchase. More than 20 gift baskets, a door prize and a 50-50 raffle will be offered.
• West Newton Public Library will host a tea fundraiser, “Tea-riffic,” from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 19 at Le Grande, 105 S. Second St., West Newton. • The Braddock Trail chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet in person and virtually Saturday at the chapter house, 200 S. Church St., Mt. Pleasant. • Murrysville American Legion will rededicate the Branthoover Memorial at 8 a.m. Saturday to all veterans and first responders. Rep. Bob Brooks and Mayor Regis Synan will be the speakers. Parking will be available at the Roberts’ Trailhead Murrysville Visitors Center, 4301 William Penn Highway.
• West Newton Association of Churches will host a community memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in Vine Street Park.
