Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash on Route 22 near its intersection with Rushwood Road in Derry Township, just east of New Alexandria, where dispatchers say a woman is pinned beneath her vehicle.

The crash was reported shortly after 10 a.m., and emergency officials also reported that the crash has sheared multiple service poles, resulting in low-hanging wires across Route 22.

According to county 911 officials, the vehicle rolled over during the crash, trapping a woman underneath.

The westbound side of Route 22 is shut down in the area of the crash as of 10:15 a.m.
