The Mon/Yough Trail Council will hold its 30th annual Yough-N-Roll bicycle ride and Party on the Trail on Sept. 13.

The pre-registration deadline for the annual Yough-N-Roll bicycle ride is Sept. 2 with the event taking place Sept. 13 on the Great Allegheny Passage.

The ride will be followed by a free Party on the Trail at the Boston access 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Both events are fundraisers for the Mon/Yough Trail Council. Volunteers maintain 15 miles of trail between McKeesport and the border of Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.

Riders in the Yough-N-Roll and Family 4 Mile Ride can set their own pace and distance starting from the Boston trailhead. There are 40- and 20-mile options that turn around at Cedar Creek Park in Rostraver or Sutersville, respectively. The family ride turns around at the Twele Road Pavilion.

Bicyclists can sign up the day of the event: starting at 7:30 a.m. for the 40-mile ride, 8:30 for the 20-mile ride and 9 for the family ride. More details are available at thebostontrail.com/yough-n-roll-bike-ride.
