Pittsburgh police said a woman was taken into custody and will be charged in connection with a stabbing early Saturday morning in the city’s Arlington neighborhood.

Police said a man was stabbed during a domestic incident at a home on the 2400 block of Spring Street.

When authorities arrived at the scene around 5:15 a.m., they found a man inside of a residence with two puncture wounds to his shoulder and a deep laceration to his wrist.

He was transported by ambulance to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition, according to police.

A woman who police did not identify was transported to the Allegheny County Jail, where she was expected to be charged with crimes related to the incident.
