A 26-year-old woman has died after being shot Thursday morning in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

The victim, Taylor Hall, was pronounced dead at an area hospital Thursday morning after the shooting in the 3100 block of Kelvin Street, the medical examiner said.

Pittsburgh police said they found the woman at 8:30 a.m. inside a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of Chartiers Avenue and Sutherland Street.

Firefighters on the scene administered CPR until medics took the woman to a hospital.

The Sheraden homicide was the fourth this year in Pittsburgh, city data shows.

Police also have reported five nonfatal shootings, as of Thursday morning.

Additional details were not available Thursday night.
