A woman who was found fatally shot Wednesday night inside a car in Swissvale has been identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The victim has been identified as Chanel Palmer, 31, of Pittsburgh.
Police said they found Palmer, and an unidentified man, shot in a car Wednesday at about at 11:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Hawthorne Avenue.
Allegheny County Police said a man who was with her also was shot. He was hospitalized in critical condition; his condition Friday night was not available.
County homicide detectives initiated an investigation and were assisting Swissvale police.
