A woman was hospitalized Sunday after being shot in the stomach in Clairton, according to Allegheny County Police.
Authorities said they were called to the 400 block of Saint Clair Avenue around 2 a.m. after the shooting was reported to Allegheny County 911. The wounded woman was in critical condition, police said.

The woman was one of three people hurt in three unrelated shootings around Allegheny County overnight. A man was wounded after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Middle Hill neighborhood around 10:40 p.m. Saturday and another man was hurt after being shot in Duquesne about 2 a.m. Sunday.
