A woman was killed and two others hurt in a one-vehicle crash overnight on the Parkway West in Pittsburgh, according to state police.

Troopers said they believe the driver was impaired.

An Infiniti car being driven by Jordan I. Bowyer, 23, of Pitcairn was speeding westbound on the highway around 12:30 a.m. Saturday when the car crashed at the exit for Boulevard of the Allies and Liberty Bridge, police said.

Front seat passenger Brooke R. Howard, 20, of Pitcairn died at the scene. A passenger in the backseat had serious injuries and was taken to a hospital, police said.

Bowyer was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

No charges had been filed Saturday morning.
