A woman was shot in the arm Tuesday night in the 2000 block of Noble Street in Swissvale.

A call came in to Allegheny County 911 at 9:53 p.m. First responders on the scene found the woman with a gunshot wound to her arm, according to Allegheny County Police.

The woman was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

According to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI, an arrest warrant was issued for the shooting and Lawrence Brock, 34, is facing charges included aggravated assault in connection to the shooting. He has also been charged with reckless endangerment, carrying a firearm without a license and criminal mischief.

Brock allegedly got into an argument with another man inside a bar in Swissvale, and the man punched Brock, who allegedly lifted his shirt to reveal a gun, according to the criminal complaint.

The complaint also said video surveillance captured Brock leaving the bar, and minutes later, an individual wearing the same clothes as Brock could be seen on the video firing a single shot.

County detectives are investigating.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
