Public safety officials responded to reports of a woman’s body found near the Smithfield Street Bridge in Pittsburgh.
County dispatch received the call around 1:20 p.m. on Thursday.
According to TribLive news partner WTAE, police said the woman was in her 40s.
The woman’s name has not been released and the Allegheny County medical examiner has not yet determined the cause and manner of death.
