Woodland Hills moves graduation ceremony indoors as rain continues
Woodland Hills High School is moving its graduation ceremony indoors tonight because of the rainy weather.
The ceremony, slated for 7 p.m. on Friday, will be held in the Woodland Hills High School gymnasium.
Each graduate was given six color-coded tickets — two yellow and four pink. The two yellow ticketholders will be able to watch the ceremony live inside the gymnasium. Those with pink tickets will be invited to watch the ceremony via live stream in the auditorium.
Individuals with disabilities were given blue tickets. They, too, will have access to the live ceremony in the gym.
Once individuals have entered the ceremony, they are not allowed to exit and re-enter. In the case of an emergency, individuals can request an escort by security or staff.
Covid-19 guidelines will be in effect during the ceremony. Graduates and their guests are asked to wear masks and abide by social distancing guidelines while on campus.
Family members attending the ceremony are asked to park in the parking areas adjacent to the high school. Parents are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they have time to find a parkin spot and get to their seats before the ceremony starts.
Additional parking will be available at St. John Fisher Catholic Church on Lewin Lane and Pace School on Greensburg Pike. Transportation will be provided from those lots to the school.
