Forest Hills suspension of late fees to end soon

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Forest Hills Borough council member unanimously voted to suspend billing late fees for fire, sewage, refuse along with water shut off noticed dating back to March 1, 2020.

On April 1, the borough plans to return to regular billing practices.

“We hope that the waiver of late fees has given you the opportunity to cope with payments without falling behind and facing penalties,” officials wrote in the Forest Hills Tree City Times.

In other borough news:

The borough is contemplating a combination pickle ball/basketball court at the Koch Park tennis court. The court is being resurfaced this spring. Officials are asking residents to fill out a survey about the project. Complete the survey here.
