Motorists frustrated with the lack of progress in fixing the Rosslyn Road on-ramp to the Parkway West got some good news this past weekend.

Crews are set to begin work Aug. 26 to repair damage to the on-ramp from a February accident. The repairs were delayed because of supply chain issues, officials have said. Some motorists have complained about the delay on social media in recent months.

The inbound Parkway West will be closed between the Interstate 79 exit (64) and the Rosslyn Road on-ramp between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on weeknights and between 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. on weekend nights for about two weeks, officials said.

Detours are posted, and the work will not affect traffic in the outbound lanes of I-376, PennDOT officials said. No work will take place over Labor Day weekend.

The Feb. 2 crash happened about a mile west of Exit 65 on the Parkway West when a truck struck the ramp’s support structure.
