The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) extended the application deadline for its nursing program for the fall 2021 semester.

The new deadline is April 1, though applications received by the original deadline of March 1 will receive priority admission consideration.

Prospective students can attend virtual workshops for assistance with the admissions process on the following dates:

  • February 27 from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m.
  • March 11 from 5:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m.
  • March 27 from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m.

Applicants will need to submit all applications, transcripts, TEAS exam scores and other supporting documents by the application deadline.

CCAC’s nursing program boasts a first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) of 95.41% — which is 19.08% higher than the national mean for associate degree programs and 8.65% higher than the national mean for all pre-licensure programs, including diploma, associate and bachelor programs.

The program produces the greatest number of Registered Nurses in Southwestern Pennsylvania and has a 90.18% graduate employment rate.
