Pittsburgh Public Schools got some love from three celebrities, one of whom is its own alumni.

Sports commentator and former NFL player Pat McAfee, rapper Wiz Khalifa and entertainer Snoop Dogg collectively donated $50,000 to PPS, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

The school board accepted the donation Wednesday.

McAfee and Khalifa are Pittsburgh-area natives. McAfee graduated from Plum High School in 2005, and Khalifa is a 2006 Taylor Allderdice grad.

The district hasn’t specifically said what the money will go toward, but did say the donation will be used to support district programs and initiatives.

“This one-time donation not only reflects a shared belief in the potential of our students, but also reinforces the power and impact of community,” PPS told WTAE in a statement.
