Baby formula sold at Walmart is recalled over metal contamination concerns

Perrigo Company is issuing the recall of 35-ounce containers of Parent’s Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder with Iron because of the “potential presence of metal foreign matter.”

About 23,400 containers of baby formula sold exclusively at Walmart have been recalled because they could contain pieces of metal.

Perrigo Company is issuing the recall of 35-ounce containers of Parent’s Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder with Iron because of the “potential presence of metal foreign matter.”

Consumers should look for lot code “C26EVFV” with a use-by date of Feb. 26, 2021, which can be found on the bottom of the package.

Anyone who purchased the product should discontinue use and can visit any Walmart store for a refund.
