BetMGM Bonus Code earns deposit match up to $1,500 to use on any sport all weekend
By BetMGM
The 2023 U.S. Open is underway Los Angeles Country Club, and it’s an excellent opportunity to use our exclusive BetMGM bonus code TOPTAN1500.
But this offer isn’t tied to a particular event, and the bonus bets you receive from it can be used on just about anything.
New customers at BetMGM Sportsbook who use this code will receive a 20% deposit match up to $1,500. The 20% deposit match appears in your account as bonus bets.
The max bonus $1,500, but you’d have to deposit $7,500 to get that. If you deposit $1,000, you’ll get $200 in bonus bets; if you put in $200 you’ll get $40, etc.
There’s also a 10X rollover requirement, meaning you’ll need to wager 10 times the amount of your bonus bet in the first 30 days before withdrawing. For example, if you have $10 worth of bonuses, you must bet $100 before you can withdraw anything. That should be pretty easy to hit if you’re betting regularly.
If you prefer a different offer, you can use BetMGM bonus code TOPACTION for a $1,000 first bet on the house.
How the Offer Works
The offer is a bit complex on the surface, so let’s dive in. It’s a 20% deposit match, up to $1,500 in bonuses. That means whatever you put in, you’ll get 20% in bonus bets.
So if you put in $500, you’ll get $100 in bonuses. If you put in $3,214, you’ll get $642.80 in bonus bets.
The important thing to note is that there is a 10x rollover, meaning you need to wager 10x your bonus amount in the first 30 days before you can withdraw. But that’s just what you need to put into play — if you’re betting $50 a game after getting $100 worth of bonuses, you’ll hit it in just 20 bets.
How to Use Bonus Bets
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has attracted much betting attention this week. Scheffler is on an unprecedented run of 15 straight top-12 finishes. That includes a pair of wins, and he enters the U.S. Open with three consecutive top-three finishes.
It’s no surprise that BetMGM has Scheffler as the favorite. He’s been dominating golf for months, despite struggling with the putter. Chris Murphy of the Action Network is backing Scheffler to win the U.S. Open.
Golf is an excellent opportunity to use a bonus bet because all the outright picks have value. So let’s use an example from this weekend. Say you wanted to bet Scottie Scheffler to win, and he was priced at +700 before teeing off.
Scheffler’s pre-tournament price is perfect for a bonus bet, as the optimal price range is +300 to +700.
Let’s say we have a $100 bonus bet for the BetMGM signup offer. We never keep a bonus bet when wagering, so we would either take home $700 in winnings or nothing with a loss. But importantly, you don’t keep the $100 bonus — it just goes away.
With a normal cash bet, you’d win $700 if Scheffler wins, and keep the $100 you wagered.
Signing Up at BetMGM
BetMGM has a few things you should know before you get started.
1. You must be 21+ years old to register and bet.
2. You must be located in a BetMGM state when placing your first wager. You don’t have to live in Ohio to wager; you have to be in the state at the time of activation and making a bet. Check out our travel betting guide for more details. You can withdraw money once you’ve already left the state (so if you were in Ohio on Monday and bet on the Super Bowl, you could withdraw in your home state next Monday).
3. You must have access to a valid deposit method. Credit cards, bank account transfers, and PayPal are the most popular, though some credit cards will flag gambling and not allow you to deposit.
