The Summer Concert Series is brought to you by Prima La Comunita’, a nonprofit dedicated to help preserve the traditions, heritage, and history of the community through festivals and musical events to help enliven and enrich the lives of residents and visitors alike.

Come and enjoy a relaxing Summer Saturday evening at Latrobe’s Summer Concert Series, featuring community jazz and concert bands from throughout the area. The venue is located off McKinley Avenue near DiSalvo’s Station, Hotel Loyal, and 512 Coffee and Ice Cream. This is the same area where the Latrobe Italian Festival takes place.

The free concert is open to the public for all to enjoy. Grab your chairs and take a short jaunt through the family-friendly, very walkable, historic neighborhood of the city. Seating is available within the paved parking area, along with the sidewalks at McKinley Avenue and Thompson Street.

Free parking is conveniently located nearby in the city lots along Depot Street, WCCC parking lots, and the lot at Oakbrook Fundraising adjacent the community college. Street parking is also available along Ligonier and Alexandria Streets where designated. (Parking along McKinley and Thompson is reserved for resident and business patrons only.)

Summer in the City – Bubble Blow Record Attempt

Join us for a day of fun, family and bubbles in Downtown Greensburg!

Summer in the City is back with exciting activities, live entertainment, and a joyful community celebration that’s not to be missed.

• The day begins at 10 am with the always popular Pet Parade, organized by Petagogy. Starting at Petagogy and following its traditional downtown route, this parade is a hit with animal lovers of all ages.

• Throughout the day, enjoy:

Live music and local entertainment

Family-friendly games and hands-on activities

Fire truck demos and meet-and-greets

Bubble-themed photo-ops

Live animals from Living Treasures Animal Park

A dunking booth benefiting local causes

Tasty bites from a variety of food vendors

• At 12 noon sharp, all eyes turn to the sky as we attempt to set a world record for the most people blowing bubbles at once! This simultaneous bubble blow will take place will take place along South Pennsylvania Avenue and the Moore/Becker parking lot. The start will be signaled by the Greensburg Fire Department’s fire whistle. GBPA provides bubbles and wands — just bring your best bubble-blowing breath!

Downtown businesses will be joining in the fun with bubble-themed window displays, sidewalk sales and special promotions.

Our 30th on 30 celebration is all about honoring the history of the Lincoln Highway and the community that keeps it alive.

A Sparkling Fall Spectacular and a Homecoming Tradition

Fort Ligonier Days has some exciting news: We are sponsoring fireworks on July 4th for our Ligonier Community.

And Fort Ligonier Days will have fireworks on Saturday, October 11 at the Festival this year.

Fort Ligonier Days draws tens of thousands of visitors each year to the quaint, picturesque town of Ligonier in the beautiful Laurel Highlands.

This three-day event is the second weekend in October, which is October 10, 11 & 12.

It features historic battle reenactments, top-rated juried crafts, delicious foods, local spirits, popular musical entertainment, a grand parade and a 5K walk/run.

With the backdrop of spectacular fall foliage as its setting, a variety of activities are found on the beautiful Ligonier Diamond, throughout the historic town, and at the authentically reconstructed Fort Ligonier and its world-class, recently renovated museum.
