Escape your winter hibernation at the Ligonier Ice Fest, Jan. 19-21
Spend a magical winter weekend in the beautiful Laurel Highlands at the 33rd annual Ligonier Ice Fest, starting Friday, Jan. 19 and running through Sunday, Jan. 21.
Live ice carving is back! Ice sculptures will be crafted by DiMartino Ice Co. of Jeannette. Throughout the weekend, visitors can watch as chainsaws cut through blocks of ice, creating glittering frozen creations. The sculptures will be displayed throughout the Diamond area — the central square of Ligonier — and along the streets.
Allow yourself ample time to visit Ligonier merchants for indoor sales, eat at one of Ligonier’s many restaurants, and watch as the town is transformed into a sparkling wonderland.
Plan a weekend stay at one of many great lodging locations and enjoy the icy beauty of winter in Ligonier.
