NFL veteran Will Allen to make in-store appearance as gourmet café donates portion of proceeds to local student success program

This back-to-school season, Toastique Mt. Lebanon is blending community impact with cold-pressed juice. On Tuesday, Sept. 16, the health-forward café will host a fundraiser benefiting the Will Allen Foundation, a nonprofit led by the former Pittsburgh Steelers safety.

Toastique will donate 10% of all proceeds from the day’s sales at its 700 Washington Road location to support the foundation’s student empowerment initiatives. The event will also feature a special appearance by Will Allen, with the possibility of additional visits from current or former Steelers.

“We’re passionate about fueling our community in every sense of the word,” said Brad Sileo, who co-owns the Mt. Lebanon café with his wife, Chrissy. “Partnering with the Will Allen Foundation lets us support a cause that’s not only local, but deeply aligned with our values around wellness, education, and empowerment.”

Allen, who played for the Steelers from 2010 to 2016, now leads his namesake foundation full-time. He says the event is about more than raising funds — it’s about showing up for students during a crucial time of year.

“Toastique is the kind of local business that makes Pittsburgh special,” Allen said. “They care about community, and they’re using their platform to uplift students when it matters most. We’re proud to partner with them for this initiative.”

Founded in Washington, D.C., Toastique is a boutique café concept offering fresh, nutrient-rich ingredients in a menu of vibrant açaí bowls, open-faced toasts, smoothies and wellness shots. The Mt. Lebanon location opened earlier this year and has quickly become a neighborhood favorite for health-conscious fare.

“We hope to see families, students and Steelers fans alike stop by, grab something nourishing, and support a great mission,” said Sileo.
