Toastique Mt. Lebanon unveils fresh summer specials amid ‘viral’ community embrace
After a grand opening week that saw lines out the door and constant community buzz, Toastique Mt. Lebanon is continuing its warm welcome into the Pittsburgh dining scene with the launch of its new summer seasonal specials.
Toastique, the gourmet toast, juice, and coffee bar café that originated in Washington, D.C., opened its Mt. Lebanon location on June 7 at 700 Washington Road, under the ownership of Pittsburgh locals Brad and Chrissy Sileo. The response, the couple says, has been “nothing short of viral,” with customers from Mt. Lebanon and across the region showing up early and often for cold-pressed juices, smoothie bowls, and the café’s signature open-faced toasts crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
“We knew Pittsburgh was ready for something like this, but the outpouring of support has blown us away,” said Brad Sileo, who manages operations, alongside consulting for local startups. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see the community embrace a concept that celebrates healthy, beautiful food.”
Chrissy Sileo, a certified yoga instructor and lifelong wellness advocate, manages the day-to-day operations and has personally contributed to the café’s welcoming atmosphere.
“It’s not just about the food — it’s about creating a place where people can feel good,” said Chrissy. “We see parents stopping in after drop-off, teens grabbing smoothies after practice, and friends catching up over brunch. That’s exactly the kind of community we hoped to build.”
Seasonal Flavors for a Fresh Summer
Toastique Mt. Lebanon’s summer specials highlight the bright, seasonal flavors that align with the brand’s mission of making healthy food accessible, beautiful, and craveable.
New offerings include a Watermelon Slushie, crafted with watermelon, maple syrup, and ice for a refreshing, naturally sweet cool-down, and a Watermelon Juice featuring watermelon, ginger, and lime for a hydrating, anti-inflammatory boost.
For those craving a savory bite, the café’s seasonal toast lineup now features:
• Roasted Chicken Salad Toast: Toasted sourdough layered with bibb lettuce, tomatoes, and a fresh chicken salad made with green apple, celery, parsley, scallions, walnuts, and lemon zest, topped with microgreens.
• Peach & Prosciutto Toast: Rustic bread with herbed ricotta, arugula, fresh peaches, prosciutto, burrata, walnuts, hot honey, balsamic glaze, and flaky salt, balancing sweet and savory summer flavors.
• Chili Shrimp Toast: Rustico bread topped with herbed ricotta, arugula, chili shrimp salad, burrata, microgreens, and Calabrian pepper vinaigrette for a bright, citrusy bite.
These seasonal specials join Toastique’s already popular menu, which includes options like the Avocado Smash Toast, PB Crunch Toast, and smoothie bowls such as the Mango Tango and Açai Bowl, ensuring there is something for every taste and lifestyle.
A Vision for Community and Growth
The Sileos’ approach is rooted in creating a neighborhood destination where people can gather for healthy meals in a vibrant, welcoming environment. The Mt. Lebanon location features a living plant wall and a mural by a local artist, providing an aesthetic that aligns with Toastique’s fresh, modern ethos.
“Mt. Lebanon felt like the perfect place for our first location because it’s a community that values quality, health, and connection,” said Chrissy. “We’re so grateful to everyone who has come out to support us, and we’re excited to continue serving them as we grow.”
The Sileos plan to open additional Toastique locations in the Pittsburgh area, aiming to share the brand’s vision of convenient, nourishing meals across the region while keeping the community-driven feel that has made their Mt. Lebanon location a local favorite.
Toastique Mt. Lebanon is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. For updates on specials, events, and seasonal offerings, visit toastique.com/mt-lebanon.
“We’re here for your morning coffee, your post-workout smoothie, your lunch break, or a snack before practice,” said Brad. “We’re here to be part of your day, and we can’t thank this community enough for making Toastique feel like home.”
