The six victims of last month’s deadly crash in a massive vehicle pile-up during a snow squall on Interstate 81 have been identified.

Killed in the crash on March 28 in Schuylkill County were:

Terri Stull, 56, and Douglas Teeter, 57, of Lexington, Mass.;

Rita Matos, 40, and Edward Ramos, 43, of Carlisle;

William Douglas, 69, of Pine Grove, W.Va.;

Domingo Diaz, 66, of Brooklyn, N.Y.

In addition to the six fatalities, 24 people were injured when 39 commercial vehicles and 41 passenger vehicles crashed near the Minersville exit west of Pottsville.

Videos posted to social media show tractor-trailers and cars skidding and plowing into each other in whiteout conditions, with three tractor-trailers and two smaller vehicles catching fire.

All of the dead were in the burned vehicles. Their names were withheld until positive identification could be made through DNA.
