The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General announced Monday evening that its email, website and phone lines are down because of a systems outage.

The office said in a statement posted on Facebook that the network that hosts their systems “is currently down.” The office said they are working to determine the cause of the outage and to restore all services.

“This is a frustrating situation, and everyone is doing their very best,” Attorney General Dave Sunday said, according to the post. “I am grateful for the dedication and professionalism of our Information Technology staff who are working around the clock to resolve the matter.

“In collaboration with our law enforcement partners, we will work diligently to restore systems. We will continue to do the work of protecting Pennsylvanians no matter the obstacle.”

The office said updates will be provided to the public as there are developments. The statement did not say whether the outage was due to a hack or cybersecurity breach.
