Pa. police department overwhelmed by response looking for volunteers to get drunk
Sorry, you’re too late.
After a police department in central Pennsylvania posted to social media that they were looking for people to get drunk — for testing purposes, of course — the post quickly went viral.
The Kutztown Police Department posted to Facebook Wednesday that they were looking for 3 volunteers to help train officers in administering field sobriety tests.
They didn’t realize how many people would be interested. The post was quickly shared over 900 times and got nearly 600 comments.
The department updated the post with a message saying thanks for the all interest, but they have enough volunteers.
The volunteers who are picked will provided alcohol, but would not be paid.
A few requirements for the chosen include being in good health and between 25 and 40 years old with no history of drug or alcohol abuse, a clean criminal history, sign a waiver, and have someone to take you home after the drinks.
