Police in Lancaster County have cited two people who they say violated Gov. Tom Wolf’s stay at home order, and the pair was found sitting on the sidewalk drinking alcohol in a seemingly random spot.

Bernardo Teran, 40, and Natasha Long, 32, were found in the 1100 block of Grinnell Avenue, around 9:53 p.m., Sunday, according to police. The pair was sitting on the sidewalk, blocking the path of people walking, and drinking alcohol.

Police determined neither one lived in the area and were not visiting anyone on the block.

Teran was cited with violating the state’s disease control and prevention act and another summary citation. Long was cited with violating the state’s disease control and prevention act, a second summary citation and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

People around the state have begun to be cited for violations of Wolf’s stay at home order, including a York woman who claims she was out for a drive when she was cited, and two 19-year-olds in Columbia County who said they were just driving around.
