Pennsylvania reports 813 new coronavirus cases, 16 deaths

Pennsylvania on Saturday reported an additional 813 cases of coronavirus. The state’s total cases is 118,092 since the pandemic began.

Of the new cases, 114,755 are confirmed with 3,337 considered probable, according to the state Department of Health.

The 16 new reported deaths bring the total attributed to covid-19 to 7,313.

The new cases make Pennsylvania’s 7-day average 737 cases per day with a daily positivity rate of 5.03%

The state has recorded 1,214,965 negative cases to date, including 15,345 new negatives reported Saturday.

The state’s covid-19 dashboard lists 634 patients currently hospitalized for covid-19, with 106 of them on ventilators.
