Pennsylvania reports 860 new coronavirus cases, 14 deaths
Pennsylvania’s total cases of coronavirus has reached 111,078.
The state’s Department of Health on Thursday reported 860 new cases. Officials said the number of tests administered statewide within the past seven days is 163,936, with 6,822 individual positive cases being found.
With 14 new deaths, the statewide total is now 7,176 attributed to covid-19 since March.
Allegheny County reported 132 new cases, while Philadelphia County had 127.
Of the patients who have tested positive to date, the age breakdown is as follows:
1% are ages 0-4
1% are ages 5-12
3% are ages 13-18
9% are ages 19-24
37% are ages 25-49
23% are ages 50-64
Nearly 25% are 65 or older.
Out of Pennsylvania’s total deaths, 4,887 have been residents of nursing or personal care facilities.
There are 1,088,859 patients who have tested negative to date.
