Armed robbers make off with $600 from Turtle Creek 7-Eleven
Police suspect two men robbed a 7-Eleven and a BP gas station Monday morning.
The men, one armed with a gun, got away with $600 Monday morning from the Turtle Creek convenience store.
Allegheny County police believe they were involved in another heist at BP in Penn Hills a short time later.
The unidentified suspects have been described by police as black and wearing hoodies.
One of the men had two handguns and two different shoes. The man demanded cash, wore a black mask covering only the lower portion of his face and wore a gold shoe and a black shoe.
The first robbery happened around 3:14 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 423 James Street in Turtle Creek. The second robbery happened around 4:41 a.m. at a BP gas station at 8936 Frankstown Road in Penn Hills.
No injuries were reported, and the suspects were reported to have fled the 7-Eleven store on foot.
The 7-Eleven store closed for a time as police investigated the scene but has since re-opened.
Anyone with information about the alleged robbers are asked to call the Allegheny County Police Tipline at 1-833-255-8477. Anyone who sees the alleged robbers are asked to call 911.
