The Southpointe CEO Association (SPCEOA) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2026-27 Jack B. Piatt Scholarship Program.
SPCEOA will award scholarships to individuals who demonstrate excellence in leadership within their community and strong academic achievement, celebrating and encouraging leadership development among local students. The program recognizes Washington County residents who are committed to continuing to build their leadership skills while advancing their educational goals.
The SPCEOA Scholarship Program is open to individuals who are employees — or dependents of employees — of SPCEOA member companies and/or Washington County Chamber of Commerce member organizations, and who are residents of Washington County. The program was established to support those seeking to make a positive impact in the Washington County community through the pursuit of a college, post-graduate, or technical degree. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a college, post-graduate, or technical school during the 2026-27 academic year. Scholarships are awarded in honor of the late Jack B. Piatt, Founder and Chairman of the Piatt Companies and founder of the Southpointe CEO Association.
“The Southpointe CEO Association is proud to offer this scholarship opportunity to outstanding students and emerging leaders in Washington County,” said David Mariner, Ph.D., President of the Association. “Each year, applicants continue to raise the bar with their academic performance and leadership accomplishments, and we are proud to play a small role in supporting their journey toward becoming future leaders in our county and region.
Jeff Kotula, President of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Promotion Agency added, “The County Chamber, through our partnership with the Southpointe CEO Association, is proud to award these scholarships in memory of Mr. Piatt and in recognition of his visionary leadership and lasting contributions to the development of Southpointe and Washington County.”
