12 injured when bus, vehicle collide in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — Authorities say a bus and another vehicle collided at an intersection in Cleveland, injuring at least 12 people.

The State Highway Patrol responded to the crash that occurred around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Officials at the scene said the RTA bus was carrying several passengers at the time.

Authorities report emergency responders transported 11 people from the bus to area hospitals with what were believed to be minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle also was taken to a hospital. The extent of the driver’s injuries wasn’t immediately known

Officials say those injured ranged in age from 15 to 58.

The patrol’s investigation is continuing.
