TOLEDO, Ohio — A shooting at an apartment building in Toledo has left three people dead and two others wounded, authorities said.
Police responding to reports of shots fired at the Parqwood Apartments found the victims shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday. It’s not yet known what sparked the shooting or if any of the victims were related, authorities said.
Three of the victims were pronounced dead later Thursday, while the two wounded victims remained hospitalized Friday. Authorities have not released the victims’ names or further details on the shooting, citing the ongoing investigation.
Authorities evacuated the building shortly after they arrived, and residents were kept out of their homes for several hours. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
