Americans will spend billions on food, drinks and fireworks this fourth of July.

OK, so the Fourth of July is not exactly Christmastime, but we do our fair share of spending, anyway.

Research shows Americans will spend nearly $10 billion on various Fourth of July festivities, from barbecues to fireworks.

About $1.6 billion will be spent on beer and wine, with $1 billion spent on beer alone.
