Bike lane prank dangerous but a hit on social media
A city in Cyprus got some surprises when it hired a company to paint a bike trail.
Residents of Limassol found their new red cycling route a little difficult (and unsafe) to follow, reports Knews Kathimerini.
The painted path made twists and turns around obstacles like trees and parked cars, at one point crowding pedestrians off a sidewalk, reports Knews Kathimerini.
Authorities were still investigating the work, which was performed by a private company rather than public works staff.
No clear answers but Limassol mayor says bike path mess will be rectified

People were sharing photos of the quirky paint job via social media.
These are the new bike lines in Limassol, Cyprus. I think they can receive an award for creativity ?https://t.co/1UL4ts4TZIhttps://t.co/yWfoHA7S0q
