Extreme turbulence slams flight attendant into plane's ceiling, 10 others injured
A viral video has captured a terrifying episode as severe turbulence slammed a flight attendant in to the plane’s ceiling and hot water scalding several passengers.
The plane, from ALK Airlines, was flying Sunday from Pristina, Kosovo to Basel, Switzerland and experienced the turbulence 20 minutes before landing.
According to a spokesperson for EuroAirport, 10 passengers were dispatched to local hospitals in Basel and suffered minor injuries, ABC News reported.

Passenger Mirjeta Basha, who shot the cellphone video, told German newspaper Badische Zeitung she was convinced the plane was going to crash.
“I thought we were all going to die,” she said.
According to AeroInside, the incident occurred as a result of pilots attempting to avoid an “isolated active thunderstorm cell.”
