Mattresses gone with the wind when gusts hit outdoor movie event
“Gone With the Wind” would have been an appropriate selection for this outdoor movie event.
It had the appearance of a choreographed performance when a flock of untethered air mattresses danced across a field. The inflatable beds were intended for moviegoers in Denver, Colorado, on Saturday night but the plot took a windy twist.
Robb Manes was quick enough to capture the comical scene on video.
MOVIE NIGHT FAIL: A movie night under the stars took a turn in Denver, Colorado on Saturday. Air mattresses laid out for ticket holders blew away in a strong wind. According to Robb Manes, who shot the video, the blow-up beds were on the loose for about 30 minutes. ? pic.twitter.com/MpQKa7yob6

It’s even more humorous when a soundtrack is added and Twitter users wasted no time.
Chariots of Fire is a natural.

Ride of the Valkyries works well.

The best? The answer is blowing in the wind.
The mattress, my friend, is blowing in the wind.

This one goes way back.

For the Looney Tunes animated version.
Here's another soundtrack option, sounding somewhat cinematic and highbrow:
Franz von Suppe's Light Cavalry Overture (that music that you hear in old cartoons that's associated with horses.)

This cut adds some context.
