The cluster of cameras in Apple’s new iPhone 11 Pro.

The iPhone 11 Pro isn’t available yet but it’s already making some people uncomfortable.

Apple’s latest flagship mobile device has a cluster of three cameras on the back side. While these represent the cutting edge of pocket camera gear, they also form a miniature constellation of trouble.

Trypophobia is the condition whereby people get a little uncomfortable when looking at clusters of small holes.

Apple on Tuesday held a product unveiling at their headquarters in Cupertino, California, and it didn’t take long for people to see a problem.

The phone’s camera cluster may have triggered memories like this:

#Trypophobia is an aversion to the sight of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes, or bumps. It is not officially recognized as a mental disorder, but may fall under the broad category of specific phobia if fear is involved and the fear is excessive and distressing. pic.twitter.com/wOvgbyD14Q

Trypophobia sufferers may never be able to go out in public if technology ever gets to this point.
