Firefighters came to the aid of a woman last week after she became trapped inside a game at a California Chuck E. Cheese entertainment center.

The unidentified woman was rescued by a Burbank Fire Department crew at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the California children’s fun center, after she was unable to get out of a “Snow Day” game.

The “Snow Day” machine has players step inside a clear tube and attempt to place balls into a scoring hole to win tickets and prizes. While inside, soft “snow” balls rain down on them.

The young woman had to sit on her knees to even fit inside the capsule, which was designed for young children.

The game is only supposed to last a few minutes, but the woman’s attempt to cheat the system turned what was supposed to be just a quick game into a nearly one-hour incident after her arm became caught in a narrow tunnel not intended for body parts.

The arcade game was created for very young children, according to the Coastal Amusements website.

“We prioritize children’s safety above all and have verified that the game poses no risk to our young guests. The design prevents children’s arms from reaching the area in question. There was no injury to the young adult, or any children and the family continued to enjoy an evening of fun with the family,” wrote a Chuck E. Cheese spokesperson to NBC4.

The video captured firefighters safely freeing the woman from the booth with other customers watching the odd rescue.
