Cowboy hats are a common sight in Las Vegas. But some tiny ones appear to be glued to the heads of pigeons.

Residents have spotted a few of the hatted birds and no one seems to know who is responsible for the stunt, reports CNN.

The staff at Lofty Hopes pigeon rescue is concerned for the welfare of the birds.

Co-founder Mariah Hillman told CNN it looks like the tiny accessories are glued to the heads of the animals.

“When we saw them today, you could see some loose feathers in the glue around the hat,” she told CNN. “It’s definitely a concern.”

“I finally found one,” tweeted Kassandra Flores when she caught a red-hatted pigeon on video.

This one has been nicknamed Cluck Norris, reports CNN, while Coolamity Jane is sporting a pink topper.
