A tiger was seen roaming through a Texas neighborhood Sunday night, according to multiple reports.
Video shows the tiger, which was wearing a collar, walking around the perimeter of a house. Someone eventually came out of the house and brought the tiger back inside, according to KHOU.
Police received a call about a tiger on the loose in the Houston neighborhood around 8 p.m. Sunday, the report said. However, by the time police arrived, the tiger was gone.
In another video, a man can be seen pointing a gun at the tiger while yelling at the person wrangling the tiger to take the animal back inside. Witnesses later told the news station that the tiger was eventually put in a vehicle and taken away before the police could arrive.
The man with the gun was later identified as an off-duty sheriff’s deputy, the report said. He later said he only pointed the gun at the animal, not a person, to keep the neighborhood safe, according to the report.
Police have not announced any charges stemming from the incident, according to the report.
