Vegan calls cops on friends after she was fed chicken nuggets while drunk

A vegan woman went to the police after her friends fed her chicken nuggets while she was drunk.

The woman, on an anonymous post on Reddit, said she was at a party where she got "white girl wasted" and her friends "thought it would be funny to feed me chicken nuggets as a prank." She claimed she inquired whether the nuggets were vegan, but was told they were "sunfed."

Sunfed products are made of pea protein.

She added that she's been a vegan for a decade after learning the processes of the meat industry and thought her friends “respected” her decision.

According to LawEnforcementToday, the woman got a message from her sister urging her to check a friend’s Snapchat history. Later, that friend’s story on the app shows a group displaying the packaging, giving the nuggets to the woman and subsequently mocking her while pretending to be her once she discovered she ate meat. (Fake crying and yelling “the CHICKENS!!!”)

Three pe0ple face charges in relation to food tampering for their alleged participation in the incident, LET reported.

The vegan has posted it on the Am I The (Butt)hole subReddit, asking people whether they think it’s too far to take the matter to the police.
