As someone who voted for Donald Trump twice, I have to say I am bothered by some of his policies and rhetoric. I have deep concerns about some ICE actions, as well as the Iran war. But my uncertainty is subordinated to my deep conviction a Democratic president would be so much worse.

During the Joe Biden years, a minimum of 10 million illegal migrants entered the country, more than the previous 12 years! (To be fair, Biden may not have known about it.) The sheer numbers overwhelmed Customs and Border Protection, making it impossible to know who was entering the country (Criminals? Terrorists?). Hundreds of billions in tax dollars were spent to accommodate the “visitors.” Biden, Kamala Harris and DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, outright lied and said the border was secure. Trump stopped the stampede in a few months.

Democratic policies, such as cashless bail, have enabled violent predators to recommit over and over. Police disgustedly watch as the criminals they arrest one day return to the streets the next. Since Trump came into office, crime rates in some major cities have reached all-time lows.

While Trump’s actions deserve scrutiny, a deep look into Democrat-run states and cities reveals the corruption that exists in this contemptible political party. Welfare fraud in the billions. Theft of taxpayer dollars to buy votes. Criminals facing no accountability. Homelessness used as a prop to support more and more taxing and spending.

So, yes, I sometimes have serious issues with Trump. Then I remember what a nightmare a Democratic president would be!
